Labeling Guidelines
Minimize your Home Tour submittal
time by using the following labeling guidelines!
- Get in the habit of saving each
property's photos in its own folder. Use what ever system is easy for
you to give each property folder a unique name. You could use the MLS
Number, Street Address, or any other unique name that is easily recognizable.
- Inside that folder should be
your property's corresponding pictures saved at 640 by 480 pixels at
a 72 DPI resolution. Since digital cameras automatically assign names
to photos, you may consider renaming the a tours photos to correspond
with its MLS number followed by a descriptive name for the photo. If
the MLS Number is 123456, you could name the front photo 123456front,
123456photo01, or any other method that allows you to make sure the
photo you attach to a particular field on the Online Tour Order Form
is the one you meant to attach.
- If your photos are larger than the recommended size,
you may wish to resize them before your rename them so that you can
apply the new name when you get to the "Save As" step of the
process. This labeling method could save you tons of time.
- You are now ready to attach your
photos to the Online Tour Order Form for transmission to New Media Production.
- When you are attaching photos and filling in their description, remember
to name the photos in each description field. We may be confused whether
a photo is of a living room or family room, or if the photo is of a
recreation room or great room.
