Production Procedures

1.  As part of your Listing Process, tour the home with the seller and look for features they wish to highlight.  Since you are the marketing expert, make suggestions as to the features you feel will sell the home but allow your seller to share with you ALL the reasons they bought the home.  This will give you a better idea how to market the property and which photos to take for your tour.  Unless there is a unique situation, be sure to take photos of the main living area, the kitchen and master bedroom/bath.  Along with the front view, they are the most important.

2. Take photos of the property with digital camera set at 640 by 480 pixels, and 72 dpi or greater resolution. To maximize the quality of your tour, you need to submit up to 6 features (views/photos) for each 30 seconds, with an additional 2 photos available to enhance the six views. For example, the living room may need 2 photos to show a fireplace on one side, and French doors on the other. Likewise, the Master Bedroom could have a seating area on one side and a wall of closets on the other.  The master bath could easily require two shots if you’re dealing with a separate shower and whirlpool plus double vanities. There could be an extra shot of the kitchen highlighting the work-island, etc.  With these extra shots, you would have up to 8 pictures. The first view should be a front exterior.

3.  Download your pictures to your computer, and size them 640 by 480 pixels and 72 dpi, if you did not acquire them at that setting (see step #2). They must be a JPEG! Do not crop your pictures as it will change their aspect ratio and not fill up the screen. Once you have sized them correctly, save them to a folder for transferring to us. Each property should have its own folder. Use what ever system is easy for you to give each property folder a unique name. You could use the MLS Number, Street Address, or any other unique name that is easily recognizable.

4. Now that the pictures are in order, it's time to log in to your TimeBank Account and fill out the Online Tour Order Form. Fill it out completely as it is the only information we have of your listing.  When listing your features in bullet form, remember that “features sell,” but people buy “benefits.”  The features section of the form should match your submitted photos exactly; ensuring it is presented the way you feel is best, highlighting the features & benefits you deem important. Best of all, it only takes a few minutes. After you have completed the form, click on submit and your form and photos will be sent directly to our writing staff.

5. We will write your script, produce your tour, store it on our server for up to a year. We will send you a link to the tour via email and you can place that link on any web site or use it in email correspondence to prospects.
