Property Form Instructions

Completely filling out the Property Form is crucial to the success of your Home Tour! Not only does it provide valuable information such as the MLS number or property number, street address, your name & contact data, but it is also our only source of information from which to write your script!  For that reason alone, it is imperative that you follow these simple guidelines:

Section 1: This section is where you'll enter the vital statistics about your listing; it's MLS number, Property Address, Location ID (unique identifying area of your market, i.e. "Five Points," "Southeast," "“Soho," "Lookout Mountain," etc., not necessarily a subdivision), price, and the length of Tour requested.

Section 2: Here we need your name along with its phonetic pronunciation if it's not clear, your phone numbers, your office name, e-mail address, and web site that will appear within your Tour's web page display.

Section 3: From here we will start finding out the details about your property!  First you'll enter the basics such as number of bedrooms, bath, and square feet, as well as the number of levels.

Section 4: This section corresponds with the to 8* photographs per 30-seconds you are submitting! For example, View 1 should be the front exterior shot, and should describe the house, such as brick with vinyl trim, perhaps the neighborhood, something about the lawn, or anything you believe is important. Lets say View 2 is of the dining room. You'll want to put more than just "dining room." Tell us its sellable features in bullet form.  Does it have a chair rail, is it formal, a chandelier perhaps, a china cabinet?  What is its selling point? Remember we only know what you tell us. All of these lines should match up with the submitted pictures. The more you can tell us, the better your spot will be. Remember, this is the most important part of the form and should be filled out completely, and best of all, it should only take you a few minutes!

Example:
Photo 1:  Front. Recent exterior paint, large treed lot, covered porch, roof - 2 years old
Photo 2:  Great room. Gas log fireplace, ceiling fan, Berber carpeting
Photo 3: Great Room. French doors to the patio & backyard
Photo 4:  Kitchen. Italian ceramic tile floors, Jenn-Aire appliances, Maple cabinets, built-in desk,
Photo 5:  Kitchen. Bayed breakfast area.
Photo 6: Bonus room. Spacious -- could be 4th bedroom, built-in shelving
Photo 7: Privacy fenced backyard, covered patio, nicely landscaped, room for a pool.
Photo 8:  Front loading double garage with workshop, automatic doors. Located near schools and hospitals.

* Remember, you can use up to 6 photos for 30-seconds. An exception to this rule would be a feature that would take more than one picture to portray its desirability. For example, the great room may have a fireplace on one end, and built-ins on the other. If you wanted to show both, you could submit a total of 10 photos, but you should have only 6 views total!
