Dr. Bud was the first rhythm guitar player for White Dog whose story is told in "Living In The Rock 'N' Roll Mystery," H. L. Goodall, Jr., Southern Illinois University Press. When we met in the late 80's, Dr. Bud was the Chair of the Organizational Communications Department at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. At the time of this session, Dr. Bud and his wife, Sandra were at Clemson with their son, Nick. Dr. Bud was in town and dropped by the apartment I shared with Dave Tipps, (a.k.a. Charlie Ross, WQLT, Florence, Alabama) during a time when I was again, a Realtor, and Dave was Program Director at WBHP, Huntsville. Dr. Bud and his colleague, Eric M. Eisenberg, wrote the lyrics to "Lunar Eclipse" and called it a Novel In Sudden Fiction. At the session, Dr. Bud, Dave, and Ben Poole cheered me on as I programmed and recorded this song. They really "produced" it, because no part remained they didn't approve. But, because we belevied it was "cool" to not really hear the vocal, you can't. So, I've included the lyrics. They paint a vivid picture. Dr. Bud does a great job vocally as the "Detective Noir." DR. BUD IN DA HOUSE! Lunar Eclipse As her car dragged the hot

single strand of her hair in my bed. She didn't cry that day,
