"Racing Queen" is my favorite LN the NASCAR Poet song. Ellen reached deep into her soul and pulledl this one out. I never was much of a race fan until I heard this song... Rob Malone also reached deep and cut some of the most expressive guitar work I've heard. Pay attention to the fluttering turn-around after the guitar lead. Nice work, people! "Racing Queen" was recorded in a converted 2-car garage that was being used as a guest-room/rec-room. We moved all the furniture to the walls, set up the instruments, and rolled the tape. The
